A great transformation in weight - from 206 lbs to 164 lbs.

Transformation Tuesday - 206 vs. 164.

2010 vs. 2017
It’s been a long journey and I’ve learned a lot in the process. I’m not done yet and I will keep pushing myself to be better, to do more and to grow.
That’s all you can ever do really… The time will pass anyway. Your life will go on. Make change, make progress and learn more about yourself. Don’t get frustrated if it takes longer than you’d like or if you have to restart (again and again).

Find your adventure and be who you want to be. The only person who can make this happen, is you.

Work hard. Venture on.

My jacket becomes too large for me after losing a great deal of weight

I got this jacket last year for Christmas and before I got it monogrammed I had to take the one I got (size L) back because it was so tight I couldn’t zip it. A couple weeks later (Jan 13 2016) a size XL arrived at my house it was still tight but I was able to zip it. This made me so excited because I really wanted this jacket and was nervous it wouldn’t fit. I went and got it monogrammed that same day. Well today (Nov. 29 2016) I put my jacket on and it was so much extra room in it I felt like I was buried in it!

get inspired by this weight loss story

I tried to copy the pose, but didn’t really succeed…lol. My friend told me I shouldn’t post this because it’s hard to compare a candid pic to a selfie (bc generally everyone looks better in selfies) especially with different lighting, but I think regardless I definitely look a LOT better than a month ago. The first pic was taken December 27th & the second picture last night after my workout. There’s about a 15lb difference between the pictures!! I know it’s not totally accurate but it still helps me to see a bit of progress.

Weight loss and before and after pictures

The weight loss industry is a billion and there are many things that the advertiser is to convince you that their product is worth the price they charge for it. In fact, in most cases, many weight loss products today are exaggerated results. These people take advantage of people who are desperate to lose weight and willing to spend their hard earned money on the next empty promise that hits the weight loss market money.

Always beware of ads that claim that the results are not typical. You will also notice that many marketing programs indicate that recommends a healthy diet and exercise. The conclusion is that if you eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly, you probably will not have the weight loss product that is marketed. I'm not talking about food plans, but most supplements that are marketed and own are not all they seem.
There are three basic things that play a role in weight loss and none of them come in pill form. They have nothing new. This information has been available for years and people who are a healthy weight have committed these things to your lifestyle.

A healthy eating plan is the beginning of the weight loss. This can be a diet rich in protein low calorie foods that you buy in the store. It can be a meal replacement diet consisting of protein shakes and at least one meal a day sense. Your other option is based on the foods you buy healthy convenience foods, such as those offered by Jenny Craig or eDiets Nutrisystems regime.

Moderate exercise is also required. You need a combination of aerobic exercise, strength training and stretching. Many people think that if they work, that's enough. To maintain lean muscle mass, you need to do strength exercises to keep muscles. Training and stretching become even more important as you age.

Managing your emotions in a positive way is very important for successful weight loss. If you eat for reasons other than hunger, there is a good chance that you will have problems with excess weight. You must learn to eat only when hungry and to cope with anger, loneliness and stress in an environment that does not involve eating.
Before and after pictures can be a great motivator, but we must also realize that they are only ... Images and photos may be changed. Losing weight and being healthy takes work and really no shortcuts.
