How to lose weight in a short period of time

Soon I’ll be knocking on the door of 100lbs down. (I’m 5'11)
People always ask me how, and here’s the truth: I spend 5-6 days a week making sure I burn 4,000 calories, take 12,000 steps, have my HR in the fatburn zone for at least 100 minutes, consume at least 170g of protein, and don’t go over my calories. I spend the other day or two being a potato recovering in my bed to do it all again. Off days mean something different entirely to me now though— Cheat days can’t be the same as recovery days because I want my caloric deficit every day. Yeah. It isn’t easy. I feel a hundred different ways about doing this all week long: sometimes I’m tired and hungry and start to wonder why I’m doing this, and other times I am laser-focused on my future goals of kayaking with our baby or lounging comfortably in a bathing suit on a cruise.

The biggest thing that makes a difference for me now is the commitment to ignore myself when I want to give up. Don’t let the toxic mixture of depression, laziness, and self-doubt fuck up what you want for your life and your body. Let one act of self-care be that you are skeptical of your ability to make choices when you doubt yourself and that you will believe the days you feel good, healthy, and strong. If you wanna give up, go to the gym anyway and tell yourself you’ll decide whether or not to give up tomorrow.

A very successful and motivating weight loss story of a girl

It’s not much of a difference but I’m proud of the progress! Fitness and weight-loss don’t happen over night. I went from 230lbs down to 195lbs! Still got some ways to go but damn it feed good. Simply started on stair climber in my basement years ago, every night i would go and step my heart out till i was sweating. Like everyone else working out and sticking with it is hard, you fall off i have fallen off plenty of times but I kept going. Now I’m lifting weights and doing stuff i never thought I could do. Just starting is the first step and a first step small or big is still a step and it counts.

Losing belly fat for men

Still ashamed and disgusted that I ever let myself get that fucking fat. But depression is a mother fucker, what are you gonna do. 5 years of being fat and having man boobs and being constantly sweaty and out of breath were enough. Started working out religiously and eating right in January, and now here I am 9 months and over 80lbs later. Still have some work to do but still, I’m beyond happy with the progress I’ve made.

weight loss is the secret of beauty !

To think that I was that big and I wasn’t even my biggest… It’s strange because I don’t see myself as that big but at the same time I do. Like I’ll put on a shirt thinking “this will never fit!” and no and behold it fits fine and I look good in it(example that knit sweater I have on in the during pic! I’m a person that always eats what she wants and never held back and didn’t have any idea of portions or anything. I’d snack constantly on anything I could, a lot of dry cereal, chips, and chocolate. But I still eat those just not as much. And a lot of the weight-loss is because of the job I got that requires a fair bit of physical stuff. Nightly I walk anywhere from 4-8 miles a night depending on what I do and where I’m going.

But what I want to say is that if I can do it, and trust me there are many many tears involved to this day they are, there’s hope for anyone to do this if they want to. I’m nowhere where I want do be but I know if I continue to try I’ll Get it!!

Patience, consistency, and dedication's role in weight loss

Before and During, Same underwear ! I can never go back to that version of me… all me, no trainer, no creams, no pills, no quick fixes! Just time, patience, consistency, dedication, and a mix of crazy! when I look in the mirror I still see rolls and my skin is looser but I don’t get discouraged. I put in work cause I know that changes are being made! Keep going so you have pictures like these later!! It’s definitely fire in my furnace.

losing belly fat makes the body look charming

Was looking back at my Camera Roll today and wanted to compare pictures from the start of this whole thing to the ones I took this morning. Wow.

Left picture was taken on January 6 this year. I think this was around my highest weight of 165. There’s almost a thirty-pound difference between these two pictures.

Motivation is intrumental in losing weight

Last time I was in Europe vs this time. A lot of weight gone both physically and emotionally. I’m a new person, really. Quite a few pant sizes separate the girl on the left from the girl. Many experiences fill the gaps between these two people. I’m not where I want to before so many reasons but damn, I’m a lot closer than I was.

Nonetheless, traveling always teaches me more about myself. I’m thankful to be more secure in myself. I’m thankful that I have learned how to love myself and others more authentically and profoundly and deeply.

How she has lost weight through walking

On the left is me at 15 stone back in March/April 2016 before moving to Spain for 8 months, and on the right is me today weighing 12 stone and living back in the UK as of December 22nd!

I wasn’t planning on losing weight at all, it just kinda happened because the food in Spain was all organic and healthy (but I still ate a tonne of fast foods and sweet things!) plus I walked everywhere, and that became the only exercise I did!

I like to think this is proof that there’s no need for excessive diets and exercising, just eat a little healthier and do what exercise you can
